I moved to Idaho about three months ago. We sold the house, packed up and drove across the open desert. Since I have been over here, I have noticed a few things. People are polarized by their beliefs. If someone here is a liberal, the 1/20/09 sticker is telling about what they are focused on. A conservative, the NRA member sticker says it all. It is ironic. I don’t care about other peoples personal politics. When I see an Obama ‘08 sticker, I can’t help but think that the driver is so fanatical about Obama that he is actually ignorant to any faults that Obama has. When I see an McCain sticker, I think that the driver hasn’t a clue on what platform McCain stands for now and how it is different than anything from the past. But, I must care. The other citizens decide what is what in this country. So the liberals support organic granola production, which I love, while theĀ conservativesĀ support less government involvement, which i love. But that isn’t the end of it. People get their feelings hurt and get upset. Apparently, this is reason for public outrage. I find it to be true that the more people complain, the less they do. I ’spose that makes me a sloth.
